DINING

The menus are inspirational and we believe in serving meals not sculptures on a plate. You will never be bored when dining at the White Hart as the menus change regularly to capture the essence of each season.

The Wine list is put together by Charles Brierley who enthusiastically spends months finding the right wines and making sure he tastes them all!

The Brasserie - Traditional design, warm rustic colours, open log fires, cosy and homely. Located in two of the four rooms making up the pub.

    • The Barn room was once used for Cock fighting, as a home for the hounds in the local hunt and a police station. Now we use it to serve our home made Sausages with pints of real ale or fine bottles of claret. Pictures of the by gone years can be seen in the lounge.

    • The Tap room was once just that, darts, crib and characters. The three stooges from 'Last of the Summer Wine' were based on three such locals. Now the characters are around the bar every night and the crib board jumped ship to the snug.  Dinner is served!

The Restaurant - Modern, contemporary and fashionable.  The place to entertain or be entertained, to celebrate, impress or just plain enjoy.

The Library - For a cosy intimate dinner for two or a raucous dinner party, whatever the do, it's private so just for you.

The Oak Room - opened in May 2005 and built from new green oak can cater for up to 220 people, or with a dinner dance 180.....

Traditionally brewed local ales and an invasion of Highland and Islay Malts ensure that whatever your tipple your memories of the White Hart will always be good if somewhat blurred.

And we are open ....
